Reputable products will specify their temperature resistance range; when purchasing, prioritize brands with authoritative quality inspection reports. If possible, a simple temperature difference test can be performed: after washing the glass, pour in a small amount of room temperature water, then quickly pour in boiling water. Borosilicate glass will not crack or shatter, while ordinary glass will be easily damaged. However, even with heat-resistant glass, extreme temperature changes should be avoided, such as immediately placing a glass that has just contained boiling water into ice water, as this can affect its lifespan.

 

Detailed quality directly affects the user experience and safety. When observing the glass, a high-quality borosilicate glass should be transparent and free of impurities, bubbles, scratches, spots, or other defects. The rim should be smooth and flat, without burrs or unevenness to prevent cuts to the lips during use. Check the bottom of the glass. A sturdy, thick bottom prevents tipping, and the bottom should clearly display the manufacturer's logo and production date; this is a basic guarantee of product quality. For models with lids, pay attention to the lid material. Choose sealing rings made of food-grade silicone or PP to ensure good sealing performance and safety, preventing the leaching of harmful substances.

 

Finally, usage and maintenance methods also affect product performance. While borosilicate glass cups are heat-resistant, they should not be heated directly over an open flame for extended periods. They are suitable for microwave heating or holding hot or cold beverages. Avoid using hard-bristled brushes when cleaning to prevent scratching the glass walls; it is recommended to use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent.
